The National Arts Fundraising School

The National Arts Fundraising School is the UK’s only residential fundraising training programme designed exclusively for the arts and cultural sector. Over six intensive, challenging days attendees will increase their knowledge of different funding sources, including major donors; trusts and foundations; individual giving; sponsorship and legacies.

The next school is now taking bookings and runs from 4-9 November.

The programme includes sessions on major donors, capital campaigns and new media, and expert fundraising guest speakers with every session carefully designed using a mixture of formats so that the information stays with participants long after the School. The programme is deeply practical, but also explores theory and case studies to back up the approaches taught. The School offers you the best resources, the best people and the most comprehensive programme in arts fundraising.

NAFS regularly holds events to stay in touch and help your fundraising go further! These events are offered exclusively to NAFS alumni, and are a chance to reconnect, network, share ideas and get advice and information.

The National Arts Fundraising School is widely regarded within the sector as a sound investment, and each year many participants receive grants from external bodies to help fund their place. Over the years these have included:
