Community Arts Partnership is delighted to support the Ten Pieces Classical Music initiative for Primary School Children across the UK.
Pieces is a new initiative for Key Stage 2 pupils, led by BBC Learning and the BBC Performing Groups, focusing on classical music and the creativity emerging from listening to this style of music.
Ten Pieces will run over a full school year, beginning in the autumn term of 2014, with a week of special events and culminating in a major celebratory finale in the summer of 2015. The aim of the project is to introduce a generation of children to a range of classical music hoping through that to inspire them to use music as a stimulus for their own creativity.
