The Clothworkers Foundation was set up by The Clothworkers’ Company in 1977 and aims to improve the lives of people and communities, particularly those facing disadvantage.
The Clothworkers’ Foundation awards capital grants to UK charities,bursaries and fellowships to qualified conservators.
Max grant £10,000, average grant £7,000. In order to apply organisations need to be a registered charity.
Applications accepted all year – no deadlines, decisions within 8 weeks. Range of programme areas but specific interest in ‘Elderly people’.
