The purpose of the Artists in Schools Scheme is to enable students and teaching staff to work collaboratively with an artist on a creative project over an extended period. The scheme is designed to provide an opportunity for a school to carry out an Arts project that nurtures both the child’s creative imagination and improves the skills of the teachers that will be involved. The level of grant that may be allocated will be in the range of €1,500 – €3,000.
