This fund provides funding to individual professional artists based in Westmeath who engages in an arts activity for a source of livelihood and who are the principal personnel in the creative process resulting in a work of art. Westmeath County Council will offer annual bursaries in respect of the professional development of individual professional artists practicing in any of the artistic disciplines in the County Arts Plan.
