Terra Nova Productions is touring the Arrivals 3D Roadshow, Mi Mundo, across Northern Ireland in March 2017
Designed for audiences of 30 at a time, this experience will take you on a two-part journey; an immersive performance and an interactive workshop. During the immersive 45 minute performance audiences engage with the true story of a young woman falling in love with someone from the other side of the globe. The couple get married, have children and then she tries to bring her family home to Northern Ireland, only to find her husband isn’t welcome here.
As the actors move amongst them, and audience members follow the action around the room, audiences are challenged to think about what they would do if faced with the problems the characters deal with. Following the performance, the audience then takes part in an interactive creative intercultural workshop, led by a facilitator who is also an immigrant to Northern Ireland. They will explore the issues presented in the play and will work on creative and collaborative responses. The workshop will also provide information on how citizens can interact with their government on the issues raised.
