Hearts for the Arts is a UK-wide awards initiative which recognises and celebrates exceptional Local Government support for the arts, carried out by Councils, Councillors and Council officers.
For information regarding “Hearts for the Arts” see the link below.
In financially challenging times, some Local Authorities really understand the importance of the arts to the wellbeing of local communities and the value this small but crucial investment brings.
Hearts for the Arts would like to see lots of nominations from all over the United Kingdom in the next few weeks, and following the shortlist and winners’ announcements, would aim to want to make a song and dance about the fantastic work they do.
Hearts for the Arts want to build upon last year’s awards by achieving a more UK wide reach, reaching more diverse audiences and achieving better press moments. This year Hearts For The Arts will be delivered by the NCA and UK Theatre in partnership with: LGA, Culture Counts, What Next?, and Arts Development UK.
