Who loves January? No one. That’s who. It’s cold and dark and the Christmas cake is finished and everyone is sneezing.
A few years ago I gave myself a January challenge. I took up something new, that was a little scary and definitely a bit too hard, and that distracted me right through the grimmest of months. I made it to February before I knew it, with a new skill and a happy head.
So I am a big believer in January challenges now. And I also believe that Knit Night is the perfect way to start one. Don’t be put off by the name – we’re not all knitters. We’ve had crocheters, embroiderers, sew-ers, weavers – all sorts through the door. So whatever you choose to try, you’re welcome. We’ll have wifi for youtube how-tos if we get stuck, and tea and biccies to sustain us.
Date and time: Tuesday 9th January at 7:30pm
Venue: The ARC (view map)
