Community Arts Partnership wishes to appoint a part – time Co-ordinator for the Landmarks project.
The appointment will be on the basis of a free-lance contract of service for approximately 9 months, (part-time, c. minimum 200 hours at £13.50 per hour); with the possibility of additional project hours in year and contract renewal.
The Landmarks project annually involves local sculptors and artists skilled in a range of media (metal/glass/ceramic/mosaic/wood/textile) supporting a range of the most marginalised in our society and the general public to create three dimensional, environmentally specific installations across the region.
The minimum project ambition is to create a minimum of 6 art pieces/installations annually with the work showcased in permanent/semi-permanent exhibitions locally, building towards larger unified projects. There is also a role to assist in small and large-scale design development and creative consultation processes via a range of partnerships with commissioning organisations like local councils and community organisations.
