Virtual Reality Project- Our Vision – applications closing 21st Sept

Our Vision is an exciting new Virtual Reality project aimed at young people living in Newtownabbey. Funded by the NI Executive and TBUC, the group of young people led by WheelWorks professional digital artists, will learn how to create their own Virtual Reality and 3D animation experience to present at a launch event at Stormont Buildings in December.

Last year WheelWorks delivered a successful VR project “One Brick at a Time” with young people from St Bernard’s Youth Community Group and Rathcoole Regeneration Group.

“We are delighted to be back in Newtownabbey and this time launching a larger scale project that will benefit even more young people. Our Vision will teach them the most up to date VR and digital skills and give them the opportunity to transform their local area and have their say creating their own vision of Newtownabbey” said Our Vision Coordinator Sheena Kelly
