Freelance Project Coordinator – closing 1 Oct

As a leading youth arts charity, since 1995 Wheelworks has been working together with young people and their community all across NI. WheelWorks (WW) is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to join our professional and creative team. The role will include supporting in the delivery of currently secured projects and continue to develop the charity as it aims to achieve its social mission.

 

 

Our programmes are designed and delivered in response to the requests and needs of our partner groups or funders. We deliver all projects in line with funder and community identified needs, it produces outcomes that promote the good relations, peace and reconciliation, health and wellbeing, social capital, digital innovation of society through engaging hard to reach young participants creatively.

This is an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter, passionate individual who will share the organisation’s vision to forge new creative and inclusive spaces that inspire and empower participants to express what matters to them. The applicant will be responsible for development, coordination and delivery of a number of WW currently secured projects.

WheelWorks particularly interested in hearing from individuals with at least 3 years work experience in one or more of the following areas: Project coordination, management, partnership development, community development, arts management and fundraising.

We’re seeking a natural communicator with excellent verbal and writing skills who can turn complex information into persuasive style. You’ll be well organised, have strong attention to detail, and be able to forge effective working relationships with young people, colleagues and funders.

If you are self-motivated, target-driven and enjoy working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. The position is on a freelance basis, part time, 15 hours per week and initially contracted for 6 months, hourly rate £12.50.
