Loaf Pottery and Coffee Shop in Crawfordsburn has launched their autumn – winter programme unveiling a packed schedule of classes and events. From pottery to kid’s workshops, pizza to floristry there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Loaf Pottery opened in May on the site of the former Pinewood Pottery on Main Street in Crawfordsburn. The arts centre and cafe is run by the NOW Group, an award winning social enterprise that supports people with learning difficulties and autism into jobs with a future.
The autumn – winter events programme features pottery workshops, a supper club, wine sampling evening, floristry classes and kids events. Seasonal highlights for autumn include a 2 hour Autumn Wreath Workshop on Thursday 18th October hosted by Wild and Wonderful Flowers where participants can create a beautiful adornment for their door and an Autumn Supper Club on Thursday 15th November at which guests will be treated to a seasonal feast of locally sourced, seasonal produce with a four course menu.
In the lead up to Christmas Loaf Pottery will be helping customers get in the festive spirit with a number of themed events. The Pottery is running workshops for people to make their own Christmas tree toppers or Christmas baubles, while those looking for a unique office Christmas party can book a private Pizza and Pottery night for up to 15 people. Loaf Pottery also has a number of events for kids to explore their creativity and imagination. There is an after school craft club, make your own animal sculpture workshop or Paint Me, Glaze Me sessions.

Loaf Pottery and Coffee Shop is open 9.30am to 3pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 9pm Thursday to Saturday and 11am to 3pm on Sundays. The cafe offers a range of quality teas and coffee, homemade traybakes, scones and a tasty selection of breakfast and lunch options including artisan wood fired pizza. A range of ceramics made on site by in house Potter Josh Lyness will soon be available to buy on the premises and online.
