Education and Careers Manager – closing 4 Feb

Reporting to the Head of Education, the post-holder will develop and manage the strategic delivery of the organisation’s education and careers strategy including all monitoring and reporting functions. This will include the development of the education and careers strategy, working with key stakeholders across Northern Ireland and the UK and coordinating and participating in relevant working groups with those stakeholders. The post-holder will work with our film education and creative digital technology delivery partners, Into Film and Northern Ireland’s three Creative Learning Centres. They will also work with other Northern Ireland Screen departments in coordinating the delivery of work experience programmes in the 16-19 age group and with key delivery partners in our film and animation academies and work experience programmes.

The post holder will also work with schools, careers advisers, FE Colleges and third level institutions coordinating delivery of our education and careers strategic objectives in relation to career pathways for young people within all six Northern Ireland Screen industry sectors; monitoring career opportunities, work experience and routes taken by young people into the screen and related industries in Northern Ireland, budgeting and organising careers events and activities and collecting and disseminating education and careers impact data.
