New Cultural Strategy for Belfast 2020-2030:Focus Panels

As you will be aware Belfast City Council are in the process of developing options for a new approach to long-term cultural development in the city.  The Council values your voice, and have sought input from across various sectors via the Your City, Your Say sessions and the first Culture Forum. There are now two remaining opportunities for you to get involved before the publication of the draft strategy in April 2019.

Focus Panels

The first Culture Forum was held at City Hall on 28th January, this had an ‘Open Space’ style format where attendees collectively chose a series of themes to explore on the day. We are now going to take these themes forward for further exploration in a series of Focus Panels that will help inform and shape the Cultural Strategy 2020 – 2030.

There will be a Focus Panel for each theme, lasting 90 mins each, all panels will take place in The Board Room, Cathedral Quarter Managed Workspace (109 – 113 Royal Avenue – dates and times listed below), will be facilitated by Council officers and refreshments will be provided.

Belfast City Council understand many of you have already given up time to take part in Your City, Your Say and the Culture Forum. BCC will be very grateful for your input, taking part in these Focus Panels is voluntary and the Council appreciate those of you who can take time to be part of this next phase.

There are only 8 places in each session, to book your place just click on the link for the session(s) you wish to attend.
