Lit Up Poetry – 18 Apr

This is the third in the popular poetry reading events at CAP, fronted by poet Michael Wilson. Poets share the work of poets who inspire them. There is also an open mic session.

Headliners for the event are Gaynor Kane and Jack Loughrey. Gaynor has been published in journals such as the Honest Ulsterman and The North. Her micro pamphlet ‘Circling the Sun’ has been published by Hedgehog Press. A new pamphlet will be released soon.

Jack Loughrey is the winner of the 2018 All Ulster Poetry Slam Final. Jack delivers heavy-hitting highly lyrical spoken word performances. He also performs as a rapper and MC.

If you wish to take part in the open mic session and read the work of a poet whom you admire, as well as one of your own poems, please email shelleyt@capartscentre.com
