In England there is the smallest of National Parks called Exmoor, and this is where the journey began. At the age of nine, roaming with a little spaniel, Melody Hautin recreated the beauty she saw with photographs and oil paint.
Colour and faith became her comfort, celebration, restoration and Hope. The paintings and the poetry she writes are inspired by The Romantics, especially J.M.W. Turner who also painted on Exmoor, and have been exhibited in New York, London and Florence as well as in the artist’s gallery in the Somerset village of Porlock.
