Opportunities for young people
Inspire Day: 3 August – 10.30am – 4pm – Imperial College Union (plus free concert tickets!)
BBC Proms Inspire Day on Tuesday 13 August will bring together young music-makers aged 12 to 18 in a day of inspiring free workshops and activities focussed on different aspects of composition. There will be something for everyone, whether an experienced composer or a beginner starting to explore creating their own music. As part of Inspire Day, participants will have the option of attending the free Inspire Concert featuring new music from young composers, which will take place from 5-6pm at the iconic BBC Maida Vale. To top it off, participants can request two free Promming passes (standing tickets) to the evening Prom – Prom 35 – at the Royal Albert Hall. Sign up to our BBC Proms Inspire Day by clicking here (further workshop details will be announced on the Proms website within the next month).
