Evaluation – Request for quotations – closing 22 Aug

Belfast Community Circus are commissioning four projects for which they will need skilled freelancers to work alongside with while they take their first steps into making our operational plan a reality.

Skilled in evaluation? Focused on outcomes and understanding social impact and purpose? Interested in helping Belfast Community Circus School to evaluate three of its programmes?

Belfast Community Circus School are looking for someone to help evaluate three areas of their work before diving into developing a new vision, mission and strategic plan. The three programmes they want someone to evaluate are:

  1. Itty Bitty (2-7 year olds)
  2. Youth Circus (8 – 18 year olds)
  3. Outreach (All ages)

At this stage they are not looking for a deep investigation into these programmes – rather a light-touch assessment of:

  • which elements are most effective and why,
  • the specific outcomes experienced by participants of our programmes,
  • how we could develop our programmes overtime,
  • other specific outcomes/outputs we could be measuring/focusing on in the future.

The findings and outcomes will inform the development of a new vision, mission and strategic plan.  Please note, assessing the quality/suitability of our current evaluation framework is out of scope for this piece of work

If you, or somebody you know, would be interested in completing the above areas of work please submit your quotation/tender to Jenna Hall at jenna@belfastcircus.org. For those with any questions, Jenna can be contacted to discuss any queries.

All quotes and tender documents need to be submitted by 8am on Thursday, 22nd August
