Peace Lines – 5 Sept to 10 Oct

‘Peace Lines’ in Belfast Exposed Gallery 2 accompanies Frankie Quinn’s Cordon Sanitaire. This exhibition is a community focused response by young people from Dunmurry, Twinbrook, Finaghy and Poleglass which explores the historical nature of the peace walls and reflects on their own experiences of living within the confines of their community.

“The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is pleased to support this contemporary photographic exhibition by local documentary photographer, Frankie Quinn. This is an important exhibition which shines a light on difficult and challenging issues that face many communities in Northern Ireland and I would encourage everyone to go along.”
– Dr Suzanne Lyle, Head of Visual Arts, Arts Council of Northern Ireland
