Crochet: An Introduction – for 12 weeks from 26 Sept

On this inspirational course you will learn the basic principles of crochet: chain stitch, double and treble stitch, simple shaping, easy crochet squares and circles, edgings, flowers and leaves. You will also learn how to follow charts and understand written patterns as well as finishing techniques and how to choose the right yarns. This course is ideal for beginners and improvers and each week there will be patterns for original projects to work on. Although the course will follow a schedule, the teaching is flexible, allowing you to go at your own pace. By the end of the course you will be able to build on your knowledge and progress to more creative work.
