Come and join this exciting after school club! The club is for creative young people interested in sewing and dressmaking. Throughout the 6 weeks students will be taught key elements of sewing and hopefully fire up their passion for fashion and textiles! As well as helping with their creativity, learning to sew helps develop coordination and concentration skills Students will follow and adapt commercial patterns and be introduced to pattern cutting, sewing and construction skills. You will learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine and students will enjoy doing different projects such as sewing cozy blanket, pencil case with zip, pajamas plus lots more!
