Introduction to Community Music – 18 Sept

This 2-hour interactive music workshop will focus on the importance of community music making from a local to a global perspective. This follows the core idea that anyone can make music. The workshop will highlight the direct benefits of community music making, how to facilitate community work through musical interactions, and how to make a meaningful contribution towards community development and social change.

Skill sets that are highlighted include:

  • Building trust between participants
  • Building self-confidence through collaboration
  • Problem solving
  • Active listening skills and empathy building between participants

No musical experience or skills required! This is a FREE workshop, refreshments provided.
