Peter Richards is an artist based in Belfast who has worked with pin-hole photography in a wide range of works and settings. In this workshop, he will introduce how he has approached working with pinhole photography through practical experimentation. The workshop will begin with an introduction to the work he made as part of the Northern Irish presentation at the 2005 Venice Biennale which is currently on show in the gallery, before embarking into a series of practical experiments with pin-hole photography, culminating in participants making their own pin-hole photograph.
Suitable for participants of all ages and abilities, although participants younger than 16 should have a parent or guardian booked on the workshop.
All materials will be provided, however please bring along an old biscuit tin or similar.
