Flash Fiction Armagh – 1 Feb 2020

Armagh County Museum is hosting an art exhibition called Stray Sod by Orlaith Cullinaine who has taken inspiration from museum objects to create a number of artworks. The title is taken from a folk tale and we are calling for submissions with ‘Stray Sod’ in mind. Roughly translated it is about being lost in a familiar place.

Please email your 200 – 750 word submission within the body of your email (no attachments please) to: byddi@hotmail.com with the name of the event (e.g Flash Fiction Saturday Night in the Museum) in the subject line.

Réamonn Ó Ciaráin, Armagh author of Laoch na Laochra: Scéal Chúchulainn, and Chúchulainn: Ulster’s Greatest Hero, will help curate the submissions.

To enter

It is free to enter, but please only submit up to three pieces of work. You must be available to read at the event.

FFA doesn’t mind if you submit work that has been submitted elsewhere or that has already been published. Authors are welcome to bring copies of their books to sell.
