Linocut is quick to learn and with little if any specialist equipment needed. It’s a wonderful medium in itself, but also an entry point for many into the world of fine art printmaking. While one can achieve dynamic and arresting results in black and white, there are a variety of ways to add colour, each with its own particular look and feel. Over the course of two days we will explore everything related to working with colour (chine-collé, multi-block, gradients, etc.) and linocut with plenty of time for experimentation.
