Inishlacken, Conversations on the Periphery – 5 Dec

The Island of Inishlacken lies off the Connemara coast and plays host to a colony of artists every June.

The uninhabited island holds remnants of the families who lived there and their whispers can still be heard. Rosie McGurran curates and manages the residency and this is a small sample of work made by the visiting artists from June 2019 Artists contributing to the exhibition include Barbara Allen,Sara Browne, Jayne Cherry, Jennifer Cunningham. Bernie Dignam, Michael Doherty, Claire Griffin, Bronagh Griffin, Tony Hill, Willie Heron, Susan Hughes, Ena Lavelle, Selma Makela, Janet Mercer, Noelle McAlinden, Rosie McGurran, Susan McKeever, Mick O’Dea Noah Rose, Una Sealy, Dorothy Smith, Benita Stoney, Margaret Irwin West, Frances Wilde, Caroline Wright and Anne Corry.

Pollen Studios is on the 1st floor of the building with no lift access.
