Finance Officer – Arts Council of Northern Ireland – closing 17 Feb

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is seeking to fill the Finance Officer role through the Interchange secondment programme. The role is for 11 months with the possibility of an extension.

About the role

The Finance office consist of four staff, Finance Manager, Accountant and two Finance Officers. The Council manages Exchequer and Lottery Funding in the region of £20m per annum. The main objectives of the opportunity are:

  • To be responsible for assisting in the efficient and effective provision of a comprehensive financial function within the Arts Council for Northern Ireland.
  • To carry out financial management and accounting tasks in accordance with procedures established in the finance team in order to meet the requirements of standing orders, financial regulations and other corporate standards.
  • To assist in meeting corporate requirements in relation to budgets, budget monitoring and final accounts.
