X Creative – closing Mid Feb

Through this exciting creative programme 30 young adults will be given the opportunity to gain skills in illustration, music and media. Working across the Newry, Mourne and Down District area and County Louth, participants will use art to explore and understand cultural differences and enhance cross- community cohesion.  The programme will require a time commitment of one Saturday a month for 6 months, where participants will have the chance to socialise, take part in art workshops, meet creative professionals and take part in a residential. The project will culminate in a showcase event where family, friends and invited guests can come together to celebrate the participants achievements.

This project is supported by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, funded by the European Union’s Peace IV Programme, managed by Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Applications must be received before the programme begins in mid February.
