Social Media and Digital Advertising Specialist – closing 21 Feb

Full time / permanent post

Due to continued growth, we wish to appoint a Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist to further complement our team. This new team member will manage social media for a number of our clients, advise on SEO and PPC, form strategy and run campaigns for digital advertising, tailored to their varied requirements. We require an individual with proven experience who will be able to add value to our team quickly and smoothly. In addition to your responsibilities in the studio, you may occasionally be asked to attend events and conferences.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with the team to create and implement digital marketing strategies for B2B and B2C clients, including the use of SEO, Email Marketing and Social Media
  • Ongoing campaign analysis and reporting, using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Google Tag Manager
  • Carrying out research, vital to the creation of accurate campaigns, including keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Communicating with clients as and when required and working closely with the Whitenoise account management team to effectively manage client budgets and resources
  • Assisting in continued growth of the internal Whitenoise brand through SEO and Social Media Channels

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar digital marketing role
  • Hands-on experience running digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience in social media campaigns
  • Experience in SEO and growth factors
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics and reporting tools/software
  • Good spelling, grammar and attention to detail evidenced through proofreading
  • Excellent communication skills, both by phone and in person
  • Ability to work well on your own and within a team environment
  • A calm and organised manner

Desirable:

  • HTML knowledge
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and strategies to grow sites organically
  • Good understanding of technical SEO
  • Experience working within an agency environment
  • Content creation abilities (Adobe Creative Cloud suite experience)
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Management or associated subject

Experience:

  • Digital Marketing: 1 year (Required)
  • SEO: 1 year (Preferred)
  • PPC: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
