Bedlam’s Best and Finest – 25 Aug

Michael Wilson presents a poetic expose of mental illness and mental wealth.

This experimental book and one person show had received a 5 Star review from Bouquets and Brickbats during a full run of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It is hard hitting, serious, but ribboned with hope and positivity. “This deeply personal collection of poems is genuinely revelatory: there is an appealing Everyman quality to it, despite uncommon individual circumstances. I think it’s in the humanity, the vulnerability, that shines through every line.” Bouquets and Brickbats.

Michael takes a non-linear approach to the various elements of illness and also recovery. His work is designed both for stage and page.
