Sinead Campbell – The Art and Design Factory – Weekly Art Lessons

My name is Sinead Campbell and I am the proud owner of The Art and Design Factory which facilities art lessons for all ages and abilities both face to face and on zoom since lockdown.  I am a fully qualified Art teacher with 20 years teaching experience ranging from undergraduate to Post-Primary GCSE and A-Level,  primary school and nursery. I have an M.A in Applied Arts and have exhibited at the RUA and Naughton Gallery, Belfast.

I was recently featured in The Irish News as part of their ‘Businesses thriving in lockdown’ article as I provided free art lessons for children from around the world.  In one of my lessons l had almost 300 kids from as far as Hungary, Italy, France and USA taking part.

Last month I was selected as the ‘Artist of the Week’ on BBC Radio Ulster Wonder Gallery and was interviewed live on-air by Marie Louise on the Culture Café show discussing my chosen theme and a little about myself.  I have since received a phenomenal response in relation to the theme I set for the children to undertake and this has been noted by the BBC.

I run weekly art lessons on zoom for children of all abilities and am about to teach my first online summer art camp, in previous years I have delivered these face to face.
