Call-out for participants for a discussion regarding allocation of the UK Government’s emergency arts funding

Voluntary Arts Ireland and Making Music are inviting voluntary and amateur arts membership associations, groups, networks and individual artists to join us for a brief but important conversation with Dr. Ali Fitzgibbon of Queens University Belfast who is urgently gathering ideas, evidence and considerations for a provocation paper that the Department for Communities Northern Ireland is asking her to write.

This paper will directly influence how the department approaches the long-term strategic recovery of the arts in the context of a bid for the £33 million recently allocated by the UK government. The organisations want to put your concerns, needs and ideas front and centre as part of the wider arts ecology in Northern Ireland.

Date: Wed 16th September
