Treasurer – ongoing

Portico is seeking a new Treasurer who, in addition to the board responsibilities outlined below, would need to be able to devote 2- 3 hours per week to using Portico’s online accounts mgmt system (Solar – training can be provided);

Portico is keen to find new board members with high level experience in managing arts and music venues or organisations;

The organisation would like to meet anyone with experience of raising funds through commercial sponsorship;

Portico would welcome experience in developing economically sustainable tourism heritage experiences.

Board Responsibilities

What would it involve?

Attending (currently via video) one meeting every two months to discuss the running of Portico;

Bringing your expertise from relevant fields such as accountancy, arts management, heritage development or fundraising through sponsorship;

Learning about Portico and helping to steer the management of this venue to make it as good as it can be;

Advocating for Portico in the wider community and spreading the word about the value of the arts.
