Belfast City Council – Christmas grants – closing 26 Oct

Subject to Council approval, in order to complement the city centre Christmas programme and so DFC proposes to offer support to neighbourhoods via two one-off grant schemes that are open to not for profit community groups collaborations and partnerships. These two programmes will support locally driven festive animation and dressing projects that are planned delivered and managed by and for the neighbourhood.


Festive neighbourhood programming, animation & dressing 2020 Collaborative neighbourhood groups plan and install impactful festive programme (capital expenditure only). 

Eg. festive street lighting, shop window animation.  

Up to four grants, 

maximum £20,000 per grant


(DfC & DAERA Covid-19 Revitalisation Recovery fund)

Festive neighbourhood micro-grants 2020 Micro-grants (up to £3k) for neighbourhood groups to organise festive animation or dressing.  15-20 micro grants, 

maximum £3k per grant



Deadline – applications must be received by email to by 5.00pm on Monday 26 October.  

An online information session about the grant programmes will take place on Monday 19 October at 3.00pm.
