Common or Garden uses the gallery as a space to propose and foster approaches based on the model of the commons in which resources, ideas and knowledge are shared and distributed democratically. By exploring processes of exchange, collaboration and learning, it asks: can we build practices rooted in collectivity?
While Catalyst Arts can’t welcome you to the gallery just yet due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, Catalyst Arts are delighted to bring you a series of talks and discussions which will engage with the themes of the exhibition. This will include contributions from Chris Alton, Bloomers, Just Books, Kate O’Shea & Victoria Brunetta (Durty Books) and Fiona Woods on topics such as self-publishing, activism, commonist aesthetics and DIY culture.
To join any of the events, please email email@example.com to book your place.
