Introduction
Kaleidoscope is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced artists/tutors to deliver weekly online arts/creative workshops for older people as part of our Imagine Arts Online programme.
Background
Imagine Arts is Kaleidoscope’s unique programme of arts workshops, classes and events exclusively for older people. The programme was launched in 2015.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic we are moving our classes online until the end of March 2021 and we are seeking some new freelance artists/tutors to join our existing team of skilled professionals.
Contract Terms
- Kaleidoscope is seeking submissions from artists/tutors in any art form.
- Artists/tutors will be required to offer 6 classes, (one per week) of one hour with the possible extension for a further 6 weeks.
- The classes will be presented live via an online platform and recorded for future use.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable skill/knowledge/expertise in a specific art form/s
- Previous experience of providing arts workshops and classes for groups
Desirable
- Previous experience of delivering online arts classes and workshops
- Previous experience of working with older people or groups such as children and young people.
Submissions
Artists/tutors wishing to be considered are invited to submit the following.
- A CV outlining previous experience.
- A brief summary outlining your proposed class/workshop (no more than one A4 page in 12 point font).
