NI Mental Health Arts Festival’ Poetry Competition – open Call – closing 31 Jan

NI Mental Health Arts Festival are very pleased to announce the launch of our brand new poetry competition on the theme of ‘Loneliness’.

After the announcement on the recent NI Loneliness Strategy, here at NIMHAF we have been working on a brand new publication to coincide with our festival in May.

The winning entries will be included in our physical zine, chosen by a panel led by our Artistic Director Dawn Richardson.

Each winning entry will receive a £50 No Alibis Voucher.

The publication will include original artworks and links to specially commissioned dance, theatre and music pieces which shall be distributed throughout Northern Ireland.

We want to encourage applications from those with lived experience of Mental Health.

We wish to use this as a tool for the arts community to combat loneliness, as an intention of togetherness.

Please send all submissions to:

250 words limit.

Deadline for entries is Jan 31st 2020
