Press launch of Imagine! Belfast Festival of Ideas & Politics 2021 – 18 Feb

Hosted by Festival Director, Peter O’Neill, and comedian Tim McGarry

Imagine! Belfast Festival of Ideas & Politics will launch its 2021 programme online this Thursday (18th Feb). This year’s festival (22nd – 28th March 2021) will explore the theme, ‘The State of Us’ with over 100 webcasts, most of which are free.

The event, now in its seventh year, encourages people to discuss and debate the big issues of our times. The strictly non-partisan festival offers up an eclectic week of online talks, workshops, theatre, comedy, music, film and poetry to help us navigate the challenges of tomorrow. ‘Headliners’ include Noam Chomsky, Bonnie Greer, Bill McKibben, Paul Mason, Claire Fox, Gavin Esler, Roman Krznaric, Sinead Gleeson, Charles Leadbeater, Ulster Orchestra and Tim McGarry, who will also take part in the press launch.
