Crowdfunding Campaign – Greenway Lane Art Studio

From Maureen. O Neill

I am reaching out to everyone at home and abroad to help me raise the funds for a disability friendly art space here in Mayo, I am an epileptic myself so its important to me. This is something that is greatly needed and I know people are prepared to help with causes like this.

Most people will probably not have heard that I’m trying to build on an art space at my studio for the disabled through crowdfunding which has a limited time as crowdfunding usually does.

This is so people with mobility issues and the wheelchair bound can come and do workshops and classes. It is something I’m hoping to achieve but as there is absolutely no funding available for a project like this unless I raise some of the funding myself I am relying on the generosity of people connected to the arts.

This type of project would allow people with disabilities to come from all over Ireland to participate in resin art, pottery and acrylic pour as I am the only one in the country teaching some of this type of artistic practice.

Even a small donation from each person would still make a huge difference.
