Call Out For Dancers – closing 28 May

Arts Ekta is looking for new experienced dancers to join our talented team at the South Asian Dance Academy

The South Asian Dance Academy (SADA) is made up of a local collective of dancers who provide amazing Bollywood & fusion performances and workshops throughout the island of Ireland.

SADA also works to encourage engagement and participation in traditional and contemporary South Asian dance. The academy works with a diverse group of freelance dancers with varying skills, discipline areas, genres of focus and levels of experience.

The organisation is now seeking to recruit new professional dancers to the team who can work throughout the summer to learn new choreography leading to a showcase at the Belfast Mela 2021. By joining the team you can benefit from the following:

  • Participation in Belfast Mela – one of the largest arts events on the island of Ireland

  • Training in Bollywood and other dance styles

  • Paid professional gigs to varying scales across the island of Ireland

  • Opportunity to choreograph for future performances

Please note ARts Ekta are only seeking experienced dancers who can easily adapt and learn new styles. If you wish to audition for us please email a brief bio/cv here by the 28th May.

Applicants must be available on 28th & 29th August for the performances and throughout July & August for rehearsal.
