Nerve Centre is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join the team, with a special focus on our Creative Learning output.

Nerve Centre is Northern Ireland’s leading creative media arts centre. We are undertaking a number of exciting, innovative projects and are seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join the team.   • Closing Date: The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 10am Monday 26 July 2021. 
  • Office Location: Nerve Centre staff are currently working remotely in line with government advice. The role will be required to work from the Nerve Centre office in Derry-Londonderry, or Nerve Belfast in Belfast

Digital Communications Officer

The Digital Communications Officer will work across a broad portfolio of projects and digital platforms within the Nerve Centre, as well as contributing to the organisation’s communications, PR and marketing plans.

The role will have a special focus on the Nerve Centre’s Creative Learning output, including the promotion of the organisation’s Creative Learning Centres in Derry-Londonderry and Belfast.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in digital communications. They will have experience of developing at least two different types of digital content in a professional context, be skilled in using a range of creative software, and excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills. Additionally, it is desirable that the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in creating content for the arts and cultural sector.

This is a fixed-term position until 31 December 2022, with the possibility of extension. Salary: £21,000.
