Position: ArtCart Coordinator 
Location: Belfast
Job Type: Maternity cover.  Fixed term post until July 2022 
Salary: £25,000 pro rota
Position: Part time, 20 hours per week 
Days of the week: Monday to Friday and involves some evening and weekend work

Would you like to be part of our energetic, innovative team? WheelWorks youth arts charity seeks an experienced coordinator to manage their ArtCart Programme and provide an inspiring space for disadvantaged young people, youth/community groups to come together for creative participation and having fun. The ArtCart is the only service of its kind in Northern Ireland.

This is an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter, passionate individual who will share our vision to forge new creative and inclusive spaces that inspire and empower individuals to express what matters to them.

The ArtCart is WheelWorks mobile arts activity studio. Once parked, it unfolds to become a fully accessible workspace that contains state of the art technology and creative resources. Using a fusion of digital and traditional arts medium, you will be responsible for the planning, booking, coordination and delivery of a variety of innovative workshops, themed activities, tailored projects, workshops, and events.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with one or more of the following skills and/or experience: experience working with young people, project, and team management, securing and managing workshop/event bookings, digital marketing and community engagement.

Applicants must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, creative, social media proficient, confident and outgoing, with a can do attitude.
