Belfast City Council’s Audience Panel Survey results

Belfast City Council has engaged Thrive to research information from cultural audiences on a range of topics during 2021.

The research is conducted via Audience Panels’ and provides a way for cultural organisations to hear from audiences on a regular basis and about relevant issues.

The insights will support the city’s response, rebuild and recovery plan and also help to realise the ambitions of Council’s ‘A City Imagining’ cultural strategy.

Attached is an overview of the results from the May survey which looks at:

  • Culture online: Quick facts
  • What do people enjoy about culture online
  • Interesting facts
  • What aspects of culture online were less enjoyable
  • Top tips for organisations on promoting online activities based on what panellists said
