Tá Dánlann Dillon i gCultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, Béal Feirste, ar lorg iarratas ó ealaíontóirí atá maidir le saothar ealaíne balla do thaispeántais aonair nó do thaispeántais ghrúpaí do chlár imeachtaí 2022.

Cuirfear fáilte ar leith roimh mholtaí a chíorann na téamaí seo a leanas: teanga; cearta teanga; cumarsáid; cearta comhionannais agus cultúrtha.

Ba chóir d’ealaíontóirí ar spéis leo é doiciméad amháin i bhfoirm pdf a chur isteach leis an fhaisnéis seo a leanas:

  1. 6 íomhá de shaothar a rinneadh le gairid – mar aon le toisí, meán agus teidil
    AGUS:
  2. Litir mhínithe maille le mionsonraí teagmhála an ealaíontóra
  3. CV/Stair chleachtais ealaíne – 2 leathanach A4 ar a mhéad
  4. Moladh i gcomhair taispeántais – 500 focal ar a mhéad
  5. Beathaisnéis – 300 focal ar a mhéad

Painéal amharc-ealaíon na Cultúrlainne – an Dr Aisling O’Beirn, Andrew Whitson, Seán Mackel agus Emma Berkery – déanfaidh siad na hiarratas a mheas go hanaithnid ar bhonn na híomhánna a chuirtear isteach.

Ba chóir d’ealaíontóirí ar suim leo iarratas a chur isteach dul chuig www.culturlann.ie le haghaidh tuilleadh eolais ar na critéir incháilitheachta, ar an phróiseas meaúnaithe agus ar phlean urláir na danlainne.

Íocfar táille £500 le healáintóirí a n-éiríonn lena n-iarratas agus gearrfar coimisiún dánlainne 30% ar shaothar ar bith a dhíolfar.

Is ionad ealaíon, cultúir agus Gaeilge í Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich atá lonnaithe ag croílár iarthar Bhéal Feirste ar Bhóthar na bhFál.

The Gerard Dillon Gallery in Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, Belfast seeks submissions from established professional artists for artwork for either solo or group exhibitions for our 2022 programme.

Proposals exploring themes of language, language rights, communication, equality and cultural rights are particularly welcomed.

Interested artists should submit one single pdf document with the following information:

  1. 6 images of recent work – with dimensions, medium and titles
    FOLLOWED BY:
  2. Cover letter with artist contact details
  3. CV/History of artistic practice – no more than 2 A4 pages
  4. Exhibition proposal – 500 words max
  5. Biography – 300 words max

Submissions to be emailed to emma@culturlann.ie Only emailed submissions will be accepted. Submissions with missing information or in the incorrect format will be deemed ineligible.

Eligible submissions will be assessed anonymously in the first instance by An Chultúrlann’s Visual Arts panel – Dr. Aisling O’Beirn, Andrew Whitson, Seán Mackel and Emma Berkery.

Successful artists will be paid a fee of £500 and there is a 30% gallery commission charged on sold artwork.

Cultúrlann Mc Adam Ó Fiaich is an Irish language, arts and cultural centre located at the heart of West Belfast.
