Position: Project Coordinator and Outreach Support
Salary: £25,500 Pro Rata
Hours of Work: 22 hours per week includes some evening and weekend support
Contract Timeline: August 2021 to March 2022

Wheelworks are looking for an experienced project coordinator with youth outreach expertise to manage, organise and coordinate cross community projects. With the team you will provide strategic guidance, offer quality participation & deliver the desired outcome.

This is an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter, passionate individual who will share our vision to forge new creative and inclusive spaces that inspire and empower individuals to express what matters to them.

You will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination, monitoring and delivery of Wheelworks’ newly secured projects. The post will require experience of project managing, outreach support, youth participation (preferably with hard to reach and disadvantaged young people), and project evaluation.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with one or more of the following skills and/or experience: outreach and community engagement, experience working with hard-to-reach and disadvantaged young people, project and team management and digital marketing.

Applicants must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, creative, social media proficient, confident and outgoing, with a can-do attitude.
