Gan Srian – Unconfined by Stephen Shaw – 5 Aug to 10 Sept

Tá áthas ar An Chultúrlann bailiúchán tarraingteach de phictiúir uiscedhatha leis an ealaíontóir iomráiteach Stephen Shaw a chur i láthair. Tá Shaw aitheanta as a dhíriú le huiscedhathanna ar áiteanna dearmadta, neamhghnách i mBéal Feirste ar bhonn mionréalaíoch.

Na píosaí seo, a críochnaíodh le dhá bhliain anuas, go leor acu le linn na dtréimhsí dianghlasála, tugann siad léargas fíorshuimiúil, greannmhar, dúshlánach uaireanta, ar chodanna de Bhéal Feirste, agus d’áiteanna eile nach iad níos faide amach.

Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich are pleased to present a fascinating collection of watercolour paintings by renowned Belfast artist, Stephen Shaw. Shaw is acclaimed for examining overlooked and unusual parts of Belfast and beyond in finely detailed, realistic watercolour.

These pieces, mostly completed within the last two years, mainly in the lockdowns, offer interesting, humorous, sometimes challenging, glimpses of unusual parts of Belfast and further afield.

Venue: Dillon Gallery, Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, 216 Falls Road, Belfast BT12 6AW
Dates: 05/08/21 – 30/09/21
