Hours: 18.5 hours (expected to include evening and weekend work)
Salary: Scale 6 SCP 18 – 22 £24,982 – £27,041 pro rata per annum

Job summary

  • To manage and supervise all the technical requirements for the Seamus Heaney HomePlace, and individual artists and groups using the facility, ensuring that operations meet the standards required to create and maintain an internationally renowned arts and cultural venue.
  • To operate, maintain and safeguard all technical aspects of Seamus Heaney HomePlace, encompassing the exhibition, theatre, meeting and conference facilities. This will, include supervising the use of lighting, sound and communications equipment and provide support for all users, hirers and artists performing at SHHP to ensure efficient, safe and economical use of resources and staff.
  • To plan and implement production schedules for each visiting artist and group, as well as in-house productions, and source additional Technical support via casual staff and/or external Production Services, and manage their work on-site as and when required.

Post opens at 12noon on Thursday 26th August 2021 and will close at 12noon on Thursday 9th September 2021
