Aspects Festival: A Celebration of Irish Writing – 24 Sept to 3 Oct

Aspects Festival returns for 2021, celebrating its 30th year!

Kicking off on Friday 24 September, the Festival continues to celebrate the amazing writing talent from all over this island.

Highlights this year include live conversations with Fergal Keane, along with Monica McWilliams and Susan McKay. Prolific author and screenwriter Colin Bateman reads from his new memoir and acclaimed writers Evelyn Conlon and Éilís Ní Dhuibhne share short stories.
The Festival ventures outside to blend creativity with stunning locations across the Borough, offering a colourful variety of outdoor events and workshops for families and the aspiring writer.

Festival Director, Patricia Hamilton welcomes its return, albeit on a smaller scale, ‘We are looking forward to celebrating Aspects in its 30th year with a return to live conversations and workshops and to bring people together to enjoy the intimate atmosphere of events that Aspects is renowned for.’
