Clubsound 50 Years On – 18 Apr 2022

The most successful showband from the 1960s to the present day – Clubsound – is still going strong! The current line-up features George Jones, David McKnight, Barry Woods, Alan McCartney and Jimmy Black.

If Clubsound could help you forget your troubles when they were The Troubles then Clubsound can help you forget a bit of global pandemic too! With comic songs like Belfast, Belfast, Tonga LOL, Daddy’s Wee Balloons, Nigel Courtney, The Reluctant Exile and The Singing Farmer, Clubsound are firm favourites with audiences throughout Ireland. It isn’t just their comedy that wins hearts, either. The members of the band are all gifted musicians and showcase their talents in the range of covers from big band sounds like Glen Miller, traditional folk songs such as ‘Mary from Dungloe’ or in their tribute to the super B’s – The Beach Boys, The Beatles and The Bee Gees. When we say there’s something for everyone – there really is!
