Community Festivals Fund – closing 15 Oct

Community Festivals Fund 2021/22 is now open for application. The Fund is jointly funded by Belfast City Council and the Department for Communities.

Grants of up to £10,000 per festival are available for community festivals taking place in Belfast between end of November 2021 and 31 March 2022, that focus on:

  • arts and heritage activities; and
  • other cultural events that contribute to the cultural identity of an area or group and celebrate the uniqueness of that area or group

Have you a good idea for a festival that will bring joy to your community?  Or maybe you would like to bring new cultural events to your neighbourhood – celebrating the people who live there, diverse cultures, or a special occasion.  This fund is a great opportunity to bring local creative ideas to life and celebrates the role that festivals can play in bringing people together.

Officers are available for advice and guidance – please do not hesitate to contact us at to request a call or online meeting.
